Discussion of the feasibility study and its implications for Kinshasa with the Ministry of Planning of the Democratic Republic of Congo in a small group meeting.

Kinshasa Feasibility Study: Invitation to the Ceremony
Official closing ceremony in Kinshasa of the feasibility study for Integrated Waste Management and Waste-to-Energy.

Kinshasa Feasibility Study: Recording of the Ceremony
Final presentation and speeches by Guylain Nyembo Mbwizya from the Ministry of Planning and Development Coordination, Dr. Gregor Kubatta (MAG), and Francis Useni (OGEC). The speeches emphasized the importance of the feasibility study, its underlying analyses, and interviews for providing the first evidence on the waste situation in the Congo. Based on this, sorting and recycling can be organized.

Successful waste shipment from Naples (Campania, IT) - approx. 400,000 tons
MAG, together with local partner companies, has successfully coordinated the transport of waste from Naples to waste incineration plants in Germany and landfills in Scandinavia.

Deployment of MAG's mobile soil washing system
Deployment of our mobile soil washing plant in Italy for the treatment of contaminated soils

Waste-to-Energy (WtE) concept: MAG
Design of a waste incineration plant (WtE) with a capacity of approximately 1,000 tons per day. Support during the design phase, EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) and financing by MAG.

Disposal of harbor sludge: La Spezia
MAG organized the sustainable and environmentally sound disposal of harbor sludge (e.g., from La Spezia). Landfills in Scandinavia were supplied by sea.

Remediation of contaminated sites by MAG in the Bahamas
MAG has successfully treated oil-contaminated soils in the Bahamas. This has enabled the renaturation of soils formerly contaminated by mineral extraction companies.

Project supervision: Dismantling of paper mill
Project management and supervision during the dismantling of a former paper mill. Monitoring of dismantling and demolition work, as well as management of the recycling of individual machines and machine parts.
